About Justin

Justin Joyce has been dominating the New England music scene since his early teens and has been featured in the Providence Phoenix, Performer Magazine, Motif Magazine, and Limelight Magazine. He has developed into a teacher, recording artist, songwriter and performer who is consistently at the top of his class. Howie Day, Guster and Toots and the Maytals are just some of the great performers who have shared the stage with Justin along the way.

When Justin was just 17 he witnessed his mentor and music teacher Lisa Parade get signed to Warner Bros. Records with her all girl punk band, Heidi. She set off for LA, leaving behind the city of Boston and a young man who was inspired and who realized that dreams can come true to those who work hard and believe in themselves. Justin became a believer.

After graduating High School, he went to college at the University of MA at Dartmouth to study music and vocal performance. As Justin honed his skills and developed his distinct sound, he continued to write song after song, playing many shows in the New England area. Soon after graduation, he decided to pack up and move to Los Angeles, in pursuit of stardom and an even greater life.

When he arrived, Justin sought out his mentor, Lisa, to show her how he’d grown into a full fledged rocker and followed in her footsteps. Lisa was blown away by his voice, the songs and the accomplishments he’d already had. Together, they went directly to her husband, Producer Bob Marlette. Bob and Lisa loved the music and saw the great potential. They immediately began collaborating in the studio. As they were recording,Justin began playing shows in the Los Angeles area and stirring up an ever-growing, loyal fan base.

Now that he has just released his debut solo album on June 1st, 2012 and secured a major motion picture title sequence and end-title placement, he is ready as ever to hit the stage and make Justin Joyce a household name.

Although his style remains distinct and eclectic, Justin’s essence and sound hint at influences from John Mayer, Michael Buble and John Legend. He is equally known for his stage presence, charisma, and a larger-than-life personality. As Justin’s career continues to gain momentum, his personal dedication and drive are destined to propel him even further into the spotlight. Justin Joyce is, without a doubt, an artist to follow.
